The agreement

Catch Fishies is made by Frozen Crow ("we"). By playing Catch Fishies — on the web at catchfishies.com or in the iOS/Android app — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.

Your license to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play Catch Fishies for your own entertainment. Everything in the game — the code, art, music, sounds, and the Catch Fishies name — belongs to Frozen Crow. Don't copy, resell, redistribute, or pass it off as your own.

Fair play

• Don't hack, decompile, or reverse-engineer the game except where the law expressly permits it.
• Don't exploit bugs to disrupt the game or its services, and don't interfere with the servers or networks that deliver it.
• Don't use the game for anything unlawful.

Outswimming a shark by a pixel is not an exploit. That's the game.

Purchases

The mobile app offers a one-time Remove Ads in-app purchase. Billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; the price is shown in the store before you buy. The purchase is tied to your store account and can be restored on your devices with the app's Restore option. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies — we have no ability to process them ourselves.

Remove Ads permanently disables the interstitial ads shown between runs. The optional rewarded revive ad is not removed: it remains available to all players, including after the purchase, and plays only when you choose to watch it to extend a run.

Ads

The free mobile app shows third-party ads served by Google AdMob. Advertisers' content is their own; we don't endorse it, and your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. See our Privacy Policy for what ad serving involves.

Scores and local data

High scores, stats, and settings are stored only on your device. Clearing your browser data or deleting the app erases them. We run no servers and cannot restore lost scores — guard your deepest dive accordingly.

Changes and availability

We may update, rebalance, add to, or discontinue the game or any part of it at any time. The sharks may get faster. We may also update these terms; changes appear on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

No warranties

Catch Fishies is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the game will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frozen Crow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data (including lost high scores) arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or five US dollars.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Frozen Crow is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
